About the artist: Marie-Christine Gauthier, 39, is a tattoo artist based in Montreal and Saint-Élie-de-Caxton. A committed feminist, she uses her art to give expression to her convictions. For her, tattooing is about much more than aesthetics: it is a way to reclaim our bodies, assert ourselves, and reaffirm something essential - our bodies belong to us.
